The Great Forest is an enormous forest that covers ninety percent of the Kingdom of Valley Pines. The forest stretches from the northwest Summerlands to the southern part of the Embrus Range. Hadrian Osmont, Ser Colvic Rames, and Raynese run through the Great Forest during A Death at Dawn. During A Skinchanger's Journey, Ser Colvic, Laluna, and Ailig also travel through the Great Forest.
